Professional Experience

Chasing stories across the country

Will Biagini began his career in journalism in August 2021 by writing cultural and political op-eds for the FSView & Florida Flambeau, the unofficial campus newspaper of Florida State University. Throughout his time in college, he would expand his writing skills by working as a student journalist for outlets such as The College Fix and Campus Reform.

After graduating in May 2024, he moved to Texas and joined Texas Scorecard full-time as a field reporter, where he primarily concentrated his efforts on exposing the illegal immigration crisis at the southern border. Will made numerous, multi-day reporting trips to the border and consistently captured exclusive footage and interviews, even beating reporters from other news organizations to the punch on several stories. For example, just one day following the November presidential election, Will was one of the first reporters on-scene at the border to investigate the immediate impacts of President Donald Trump's victory on the speed and motivations of illegal alien border crossings. He also forged and maintained valuable connections at both the county and state levels.

In May 2025, Will joined the Leadership Institute's Campus Reform, where he currently works today. Having now refined his field reporting skills, he regularly embeds himself inside disruptive campus protests to shed light on what's really going on. He also produces weekly "man on the street" videos talking to students on campuses across the nation about higher education issues. Some of his videos have amassed well over 100,000 views on YouTube alone, and short clips regularly surpass that amount.

Will's passion for physically being there rather than just repeating talking points is one of the most notable characteristics of his journalism philosophy that he takes with him wherever he goes.
